Sit Awhile & Heal is an organization that focuses on behavioral health services with heavy emphasis on BIPOC communities and the helping profession. We also provide clinical supervision, professional consultation services, psycho-education through web based support. Our experience enables us to offer culturally competent outpatient, individualized care. We treat a number of mental health disorders, and provide a safe space for healing for all that seek it. 

We use evidence based treatment to include CBT(cognitive behavioral therapy), TF-CBT(trauma focused cognitive behavioral therapy), IFS(internal family systems), CPT(cognitive processing therapy) as well as other theoretic frameworks that meet our clients where they are. The hope is these interventions will help individuals heal, become energized, and become aware of their inner strengths. 

We promise to support you in your healing journey AS YOU SEE FIT. We strive to use empathic, holistic care using evidenced based treatment. You will have quarterly treatment plans that foster a partnership between you and your therapist, so that you are the conductor of your own train.
